Black & Red Swirl Dot Pitcher/Vase
This is a hand thrown ceramic piece done on a potter's wheel. It is made of a white stoneware finished with a copper red glaze over St. John’s black. The glaze varies over the piece going from black, to blue, to a dark ox blood red and just shows all it’s beauty in the sunlight. The dots underneath are done with white slip in a curly fiddlehead fern inspired style and are amazing to touch. Each and every dot is lovingly placed one by one, by hand.
