This is a hand thrown ceramic piece done on a potter's wheel. It is made of a white stoneware finished with a tea dust glaze on the exterior and a glossy white interior. The tea dust glaze is a nice rich brown where it is thinner and a rich black with gold flecks where it is thicker in application. This makes for nice depth of color over the textured exterior that has the feel of a real coconut. I have a love of all things tiki, so this my way of appreciating the craft. A great way to display your flowers or even share a drink or two! As a tiki mug it can hold a whopping 24 ounces of whatever rum drink catches your fancy!
